10 Most Brilliant Children

It’s amazing to think there are people out there who, before the age of 10, would have achieved more intellectually, than most of us will do in our entire lives. Here is a list of 10 young geniuses, or rather child prodigies in various fields from around the world.

 

10. Priyanshi Somani

To date she is the only participant who has achieved 100% accuracy in Addition, Multiplication, Square Root in all five Mental Calculation World Cups at age 11. Mental calculator from India Priyanshi Somani, started at the very young of age of 6. You can now find her name added in the Limca Book of World Records as well as the Guinness Book of World Records.

 

9.Elaina Smith

After calling into her local radio station at the age of 7 and giving profound advice to a listener who wanted to dump her boyfriend – “go bowling with pals and drink a mug of milk”, the producer was so impressed they offered her a weekly slot to give tips to thousands of adult listeners. Just like that Elaina Smith became Britain’s youngest agony aunt.

 

8. Michael Kevin Kearney

After setting several world records and becoming a college lecturer at the age of 17, it should come as no surprise that Michael Kevin Kearney is best known as the world’s youngest college graduate at the age of 10! This was preceded by speaking his first word at 4 months, informing his pediatrician that he has a left ear infection at 6 months and learning to read at ten months.

 

7. Gregory R Smith

Born in 1990, Gregory Smith was memorizing and reciting books at the age of 14 months and had enrolled in university at 10 years. When Gregory graduated, he was the youngest person ever to receive a master’s degree from the University of Virginia. This young man travels the globe as a peace and children’s rights activist and received the Nobel Prize at the age of only 12!

 

6. Saul Aaron Kripke

He was labelled a prodigy at the age of 6 after having taught himself Ancient Hebrew, and then continued to read the complete works of Shakespeare by the age of nine. Saul Aaron Kripke mastered complex mathematical problems, wrote his first complete theorem in modal logic at the age of 17, and then attended Harvard University and graduated summa cum laude obtaining a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.

 

5. Aelita Andre

Discovering her passion for painting at only nine months old, she quickly turned into an art prodigy. At the age of 2, she had already showed her paintings in a group exhibition in a famous gallery. Australian by birth, Aelita Andre did her first her first solo exhibition in New York City in June 2011, when she was four years old!

 

4. Cleopatra stratan

Earning 1000€ ($1,206) per song, the three – year old singer was dubbed the the youngest singer to obtain commercial success with her album named “La Varsta de Trei ani”. Not only the highest paid young artist but also the youngest artist to receive an MTV award and the youngest artist to score a No.1 hit in a country.

 

3. Arfa Karim

Arfa Karim made Pakistan proud on a number of occasions on various international forums including the TechEd Developers Conference. Arfa was a student and computer prodigy who in 2004 become the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), just at the age of nine years. The Arfa Software Technology Park – was named after her. She was also invited by Bill Gates to visit the Microsoft Headquarters in the USA.

 

2. Akrit jaswal

He came to public attention in 2000, when he performed his first medical procedure at his home at the age of 7. Akrit Jaswal, a young Indian with the IQ level of 146 shocked the world when he did surgery on a native girl who was suffering from burns on her hands. As the youngest person to be admitted to a medical university in India, just at the age of 12, he focused his intelligence on medicine.

 

1. kim ung yong

He has broken the Guinness Book Records by the IQ level of 210. By the age of 4 Kim Ung Yong could read multiple languages including German and solve complicated differential and integral calculus problems. After being invited to America by NASA, he finished his university studies. Eventually, he earned a Ph.D. in physics at Colorado State University before turning 15. This Korean super-genius might just be the smartest guy alive today!
